2010 TFA Washington, D.C. Trip Information
For the 8th year in a row, Student Leadership University is partnering with The First Academy to provide the 8th Grade Trip to Washington, D.C. Travel with us to our Nation's Capitol as we learn about our heritage and prepare for the future. From October 12-15, 2010, we will explore Washington, D.C. and visit places including the White House, the Capitol, the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, Ford's Theater, where President Lincoln was shot, the home of George Washington at Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian museums and galleries, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the FDR Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the National Cathedral, and many other exciting and important sites in and around Washington. You won't want to miss this incredible opportunity!
Dates: October 12-15, 2010 Prices: $1099 for Students What does this include? Price includes round-trip airline fare from Orlando, 3 nights hotel lodging, all transportation while in DC, sites fees, and meals (Tuesday lunch through Friday lunch). Special Note on Prices: Student price is based on 4 students per room. Chaperone price is based on 2 adults per room. Also, price is based on a $250 airline ticket. If the airline ticket is more than $250 per student, the price will be adjusted accordingly and participants will be responsible for the difference. Deposit: Registration is open until March 19, 2010 and $250 is due at the time of registration to secure your spot. Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance may be purchased for an additional $42 for comprehensive and $57 for comprehensive plus cancellation for any reason.
