June 23-26, 2010Student Leadership University is hailed by parents, youth ministers, teachers, and students as the nation's premiere leadership training program with a distinctively Christian worldview for students in eighth grade through college. We believe that students can walk confidently through the transition into adulthood if given the information, inspiration, and tools to do so.
Student Leadership combines hands-on intentional training with state-of-the-art facilities and resources to bring you a powerful leadership training package that is both relevant and dynamic. Our courses in life and time management challenge students to dream big and guide them in transforming their dreams into a working reality. Our apologetics track on Defending the Faith and Developing a Christian Worldview is unsurpassed in its ability to prepare students for the challenges of college in postmodern and pluralistic settings. Our world-class speakers motivate students in lively sessions to conquer the future as progress through a week of incredible leadership training that equips them with skills for a lifetime. We combine this intense training with adventure as students go behind the scenes in an exclusive ECO- Tour of Sea World, and they enjoy an afternoon of thrills and excitement at the legendary Six Flags Fiesta Texas theme park. Patterned after Fortune 500 corporate leadership seminars, this comprehensive program provides students with training on leadership skills, expanding their faith, as well as developing a Christian worldview. Our aim is to equip, motivate, enable, and empower students for leadership in their communities, schools, churches, and workplace. We believe our training gives them a 20-year leap into the skills needed to walk confidently into the future. Group pricing is available for those traveling with a chaperone only. For single students traveling, tuition pricing includes fees for being met at the airport by an SLU intern, transportation costs to and from the San Antonio airports, and additional staffing costs.
Student Leadership University is designed for students who have an intense desire to develop their God-given talent of leadership. Our graduates are serving in leadership in their churches, homes, schools, and communities. Our intense classroom time, more than 26 hours in all, aligned with structured free time will expand your students' leadership horizon and give them tools necessary to take their life to the next level.
Please note: conference pricing is based on four people to a room. Each room comes with two double beds. Rooms with less than four people will incur an additional cost of $90 per empty spot. In addition, you may extend your hotel stay to before or after the conference dates for an additional cost of $125 per room per night. This is based on availability. |
