LANDING TRUTH
In air travel they say a good flight is landing. As youth pastors in communicating Gods' word we have to know how to land the plane effectively on a weekly basis. Dave Edwards has started and led 12 city wide weekly bible studies ranging in attendance from 100 to 2500, in this session you will learn how to avoid circling the target along with the three ingredients to taking off and landing the truth into the lives of your students. Because of the demands on student leaders study time is often limited you will learn how to prepare and present your talks in a quick and consistently effective manner.
Bio:
David Edwards has launched seven citywide, multi church Bible Studies for high school students. He is a friend of the local church and pastors. He is a supporter of Intelligent Youth Ministry. He connects Scripture to students and their culture and helps leaders and parents connect to the next generation. David masterfully applies biblical truths to current issues in an honest, humorous and understandable form. His mission is to reintroduce the truth of God's Word by meeting people where they are in life and bringing them one step closer to knowing and becoming like Jesus Christ. David has authored nineteen books and travels and speaks over 300 times a year for churches, camps retreats and leadership meetings. He has spoken at the Youth Pastors Summit for four years.
