In one of the most defining moments of his ministry, Jesus was asked which commandment was the greatest. He answered, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " (Matthew 22:37-39, NASB). This is the message of David Ferguson's ministry - to love God and to love others, beginning first with a deeper understanding of the God who loves you. David Ferguson and his wife, Teresa, are directors of Intimate Life Ministries, serving thousands of churches and ministry leaders worldwide. Early in his church ministry, David, like so many in Christian ministries, tried unsuccessfully to achieve balance between ministry and family demands. Out of an intense desire to honor God and minister to the needs of his family, he rediscovered this Biblical principle that transformed his life, his family, and his ministry to others.
