 With 25 years of experience in student ministry, Jeff Lovingood offers an in-depth perspective on student ministry strategy, evangelism, and growth. He has a tremendous passion for sharing Jesus with others, excitement for the Word of God, and love for students. Throughout his 25 years he has served in churches with student ministries as small as 8 and as large as 1,000.
While presently leading one of the largest student ministries in the country at Longhollow Baptist Church, he also travels speaking to and building relationships with student pastors. In recent years his ministry has become a resource and voice of encouragement to hundreds of student pastors. Jeff and his wife Rachel have three children Trevor, Kelsey and Riley. Synopsis: When Jesus walked along the sea shore in the disciples’ lives and uttered these timeless words, “Come and Follow Me,” the response of the disciples was not…what will my salary package be? What are the benefits? How much vacation time will I get? The response was that they dropped their nets, got out of their boats, and they dedicated themselves to following Jesus of Nazareth. We all know that our ministries will rise and fall on leadership. During these unstable and uncertain economic times, there exists a need far greater than generations past for solid biblical leadership.
